What to expect at your new patient exam.

 ADULTS : A very comprehensive exam

• cancer screening
• x-rays – up to date x-rays are mandatory because they provide important information that the dentist can not see with the naked eye. In many cases dental x-rays can detect a problem before symptoms occur. If you have currant x-rays of diagnostic quality, they may be acceptable. We will also take a photographic survey.
• consultation – If a treatment plan needs to be developed, the doctor will ask you to come back for a consultation.

 CHILDREN  : Children 3yrs. and older are welcome in our office

• At the first visit the dental hygienist will gently introduce the child to our office.  Our goal is to make this experience a pleasant one and foster a positive attitude. We never want dentistry to be a source of anxiety for any one.
